To most, if not all, people, Arceus is quite a few cards short of a full deck. Always wearing that goofy ear-to-ear smile, he comes across as spacey, strange, and sometimes even stoned. But after spending eons alone in the Beginning Dimension, a little insanity is only natural. When not prancing around in his infamous Magikarp boxers and popping up at unexpected times, he can be found sleeping and gets very testy if woken up. However, every now and then he'll reveal a surprising amount of clarity and understanding, usually in the form of giving profound advice to those who need it. Though his intentions for this help might not always be innocent, as Arceus has no problem with using and manipulating people to further his interests. He is also very proud and cannot stand to be disrespected or defied; Anyone who dares show such insolence towards him will be dealt a very swift punishment.

In terms of love, Arceus is very much like the real world Zeus, in that he loves frequently and with many different people of either gender. The reason for such promiscuity is largely unknown, but some say it stems from a deep-rooted fear of being alone, brought on by his isolation in the Beginning Dimension. But whatever the reason, he still is, to put it bluntly, a grade A man slut and holds little regard for the feelings of those he takes to bed.
